UPDATED!!!! Directus/prodigy one group buy

Im trying to get a group rate/buy here from my buddy if you guys are interested. let me know who is interested so i can get him a number of units and pricing from him.

The unit just comes with the nav unit itself, if your G37 came with backup cam and/or bluetooth, you will still have it and WILL NOT need it on the new system.HE IS ONLY GOING TO INQUIRE ABOUT THE SYSTEM ITSELF AND ONE OTHER OPTION SO IM THINKING WIFI..

This unit retails for $1699. with NO OPTIONS..so im thinking a few hundred dollars off depending on how many units he orders..so if youre expecting to get this for $1k, ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEND

Ill say we will run it til AUGUST 31st 2011 to see how many we can get then start placing orders at that time?? any feedback??

so far :

1. Hawaiian821 (Jason Esperas) PAID
2.NoirG (Jerry) PAID
3.thejumpoff (Jonathan) PAID
4.tallbrownie
5.infamousstunna1
6.j1nSF (Steven)
7.

Ok fellas. Jerry (NoirG) got his installed today.. he did the prodigy one unit with rear cam in the factory hole.. here are the pics,Jerry can give you a complete review on this. Im installing mine on Monday when i get my truck back from ford.

AND IT BEGINS....ENJOY..

JERRY CHECKING IT OUT..

thanks to BIG WILL at 1 off customs for hooking us up on our installs.. if anyone is interested,he is in Orlando area and he will install your system for you. Jerry drove up from miami to get his done.

Jason,

Are you doing this through your buddy or through Directus? Directus seems to be open to doing a group buy as well based on their reply on the other thread.

yea let's see what happens... he mentioned he's got it in his maxima but hardly uses it lol.... I had a lot of gadgets in my 08 Nav TL and I didnt' use some of my features fully...

This unit is a Cool item "TO HAVE" but Is it mandatory?

i like it it's sleek design and interface

Well I PM'ed DIRECTUS to see what he could do for a group buy. This really isn't a necessary unit to have, but the way it integrates is cleaner than any other way to get nav.

I'm still concerned about the price though which still leaves me on the fence with this mod.

I like it, it's a cheaper way to go instead of the dealer wanting to charge us $2k for factory navigation.. And you get wifi and other cool futures I like. I got a tahoe and it has navigation. You'll never know when you are gonna need it. So I'm down. If an aftermarket unit would fit nicely in the hole, I would go with that. Love the kenwood nav units!

I'm curious and the price doesn't seem bad but it is too high for me to be an early adopter. Even if I miss a good deal.

even if its just us 3,im sure it will run cheaper then $1699 retail. im gonna keep bugging him in the next few days, ill see him tomorrow so i will have him call for a 3 package deal if you 2 are down? ill probably just get them unit by itself and upgrade to the wifi and radar dector later on since the addons start at $100 for the wifi and radar, i think $200/ dont quote me on the radar price,i know he said $100 for the wifi.

Replied. Eskrimador, PM Hawaiian to get a price on the unit. Getting in a group buy will always be cheaper than the asking retail price from the supplier.

BTW, I've replied to the PM.

This really is one of the cleanest and simplest way to integrate additional options that us non-nav guys don't have.

jumpoff, i agree,it looks totally factory and has good upgrades compared to infiniti wanting to charge us $2K just for navigation upgrade when my wife and i bought her car last month.
