Difference between '09 and '10 Nav?
Hi all,
I've narrowed down my search for a used car to:
2009/2010 Infiniti G37 Coupe Journey with Sports, Premium and Nav packages.
There's a few available in my area, but I have one question...what's the difference between the '09 and '10 Nav? I've heard the '10 is "HD" and can play DVDs and displays iPod album artwork? Is that right? Is there any other differences? More importantly, is the difference great enough where I should narrow my search to JUST a '10, or minor enough that the '09 is good enough.
Thanks!

I don't have Nav on my 2011 because IMO all in car nav systems suck compared to what comes in my Android device. I believe the only difference between the 09/10 is the increase in screen resolution, I've heard x4 in resolution. However, no way the screen is "HD" though. I don't get album artwork through my iPod nor can I play dvds...don't think the Nav models can either but not 100% sure. Maybe someone with Nav can comment.

I really like the Bluetooth feature, but you have to be on the BT Audio channel in order to receive any notifications of text messages or emails. The USB is great for charging stuff in the car. Just use a USB cable in the slot.

Thanks for all the responses, especially the very detailed one. I appreciate it a lot!
The higher resolution isn't a deal breaker, I don't plan on watching movies in my car, and I don't take long enough trips to make the NavWeather very useful.
The Bluetooth audio seems convenient, but I know the quality is poor and it would be draining my iPhone, so I'd probably stick with docking it anyway.
It sounds like, for me, the '10 would be better, but the '09 would be fine too. Again, THANK YOU ALL!!
