Alternative to Basslink II?

I was considering a Basslink II, but I have read some unfvaorable reviews and now it's been discontinued with no replacement. In my searches I came across these-

KICKER | Livin' Loud

But I cannot find a single review or customer testimony that isn't on the Kicker website. Does anyone have any experience with these or have any input as to other similar alternatives? I'm looking for a simple plug and play option. The Most attractive thing about these is that it appears you can literally unplug it and take it out if you need room.

same here, was gonna buy the BSII but read all the reviews and decided not to, I just wanted to find something self powered instead of dealing with amps and sheit.
