I was in an accident 2 months ago and the airbags deployed(fixed all airbags except for passenger curtain airbag). My seatbelts locked up as well. So what i did was send out my seatbelts to this place i found on ebay and they replaced all the parts that were broken, with brand new oem parts, to the best of my knowledge... i went to put the seatbelt in (passenger side), hooked everything back up, but the damn thing just got locked up again. I have not gotten my airbag unit reset yet, so that might be why?? My airbag light is still on. If anyone has the answer that would be great!!

I'm not a seat belt expert by any means but I do believe the seat belt tensioner is purely mechanical and resetting your air bag controller won't change anything. If it is locked up I would contact the company that you paid to work on it for you. Get their advice, but chances are you will need to send it back to them.

OK, so today i found the problem and i thought id post it on here just in case anyone else has this problem. the seat belts need to be heald in the same upright position as when they are bolted in the car( a safety feature). example: if you are holding the seatbelt in your hand, you need to hold the seatbelt in the same upwright position that it would be when its bolted into the car. just thought id share since it took me about 2 months to put my seatbelts in due to nobody knowing how to solve this problem.
