Mikes mount questions

Just received my mikes mount in the mail, but I'm having a hard time installing it with the 9500ix. Any tips would be helpful. Will post pics soon to show my issue.

here are some pictures. every DIY ive seen are for v1's, not 9500ix

That looks like the wrong mount for the 9500ix. That might be the mount for the Valentine. Ill take some pics when i get home to be sure.

the x factor

just installed the mikes mount on the mirror, and BENT the 9500ix suction cup holder at a 90 degree angle. That was the part that I couldn't figure out and was not posted on any forum. hope this helps others!

I don't know if it's just the picture, but it looks like ur radar is aiming upward...is it? If that's the case, I'm not sure if you're going to be picking up signal as good as if it were level
