yikes. any idea what system they're using? no ones really answered if it's actually OEM equipment or not. pretty awesome that they've integrated it into the OE intelli-fob. is it possible for 6mt guys to get the same?

wow. my guy in the philly burbs did mine for $350.
very small, nice addition to my keychain, but hey.

he'll prolly do $400 for everyone.
I have had 8 cars done in the past 4 years, all perfect work.

That's like half price? Worth driving to Philly for. Except then I'd be in Philly and I don't think they're reciprocal on Va CCWs.

I bought mine at Sewell Infiniti Dallas (see tagline). What would it cost me?

And is the remote start distance limited to how far the factory key fob can reach it?

did a little more research, it requires hiding the key fog in the dash. $799 at the dealer plus you loose a key fob.

is this required for any remote start, or only the ones in which you use the factory fob?

when the key, is the remote; its chipped a little differently, and it requires hiding the key in the dash in a tiny lock-box.

so if you want to have 2 key-fobs, you can add in the cost of buying a new fog and programming it to your vehicle into the cost of getting a remote start in your car.

-to the person that asked regarding a remote start in a 6mt, its very dangerous and most shops wont take the job on. A guy at work had his stick shift acura RSX lunge while parked into a bmw 330i (keys were in his pocket and somehow the start button was pushed and the car lunged enough to push into the car in front of it.)

That should teach him; not to park his car, into a bmw 330i. With a fog hidden in the dash.

They don't for sticks...but they should for manual transmissions.

I had the viper smart start system installed in my 2010 G37xS. Works amazingly! I love the fact that i dont have to carry around an extra key fob. I can use my phone to lock/unlock and pop the truck. Or just double click the key fob and it starts up! LOVE IT!
