Hate stock Bose system? Post your options!
Ok, so there are lots of complaints about the stock Bose system in the G. Everyone has their preferences about sound and the music they listen to. So what systems/components do you recommend as an "upgrade" for the G?
Details that should be listed include: speakers (sizes/locations), amps, wiring, accessories, etc. and recommended install shops (if not DIY)
Photos of upgrade components and installs aren't necessary, but definitely appreciated by all.

Door panel speakers
1x 1" Tweeter
1x 3" Mid Range
1x 10" Woofer
Rear Passenger speakers
2x 3" Mid Range
Rear Deck speakers
6"x9" Speakers
DIY is easy as long as you have a guide to follow such as "Door Panel Removal" and swapping speakers using the factory amp is easy to do.

I believe that adding punch subwoofers (1 or 2) in the truck would definitely be beneficial for rich bass. So what the thoughts are so far is that it's just the speakers that need to be replaced. Is the power capacity of the stock system is sufficient? Would additional amplification be preferable?

So u can just get a 3' tweet and replace the factory from the door panel? Straight plug using the stock bose amp? Works good? What omhs were those tweeters u got?

That's exactly what this thread is supposed to be about. Post up what upgrades / switch outs have been done to the G's audio system. Add pictures too!

Alpine 6x9" rear deck
Alpine 10" Type R Subwoofer
Gotta find some 3" woofers and 1" tweets also.

I just added 2 10" alpine type R and an alpine mrp m1000 amp and it pounds in a bassworx box. U need the angled box cause our trunks are small and say good bye to ur trunk. Lol I can barely fit a jug of oil now. IMO it's worth it if u like the bass!!! It's my summer car so I don't care for trunk space. That's what the back seats are for.

Are there any direct swaps available for the subwoofers that you can simply put in place of the old Bose ones? I don't want to put anything in the trunk as my coupe is my day to day and the trunk is already full of other stuff.
