okay well i am soon to be a g37x (09) owner and i have about $1,000 to drop onto it. It is going to be obsidian black with black interior. i was thinking about getting a new sound system but if the stock system is okay i will deal with it. anyone want to help me out on what to get to upgrade my car? also if you know the average price of any of the following it would be handful...
20 percent tints
blacked out tail lights
black infiniti symbol for front and back

 

20 percent tints - 200$
blacked out tail lights - DIY or bats overlays for 50$
black infiniti symbol for front and back - DIY plastidip

Now you still have ~800$ still to spend. Save some more $ and get rims.

gtspec strut + cai + hfc. it'll be a little over 1000 if you buy new, but if you shop around...you can make it fit.

Get a tune without bolt ons and post dyno results so we can debunk the myth that you need to buy $500 intakes

 

Strut tower bar - Handles better, but you feel more of the road (rough ride)
Cold Air Intake - More air, but costly.
High flow cats - More flow, but costly and raspy sounding.

 

sway bars!!!!!! best investment! you can feel immediate differance over stock compared to other upgrades

 

i agree with sway bars, i had coilovers first and the difference was noticable, but sway bars was 5x as notiable, great mod

 

Go easy on the guy. He's new to this. Sway Bars, and Chassis are too aggressive. Get some Ipod at Apple Store.

what exactly is bats overlays and does plastidip make the symbol more of a matte black because i prefer it to be "shiny" lol sorry about my poor knowledge

 

Suspension. Either springs and sway bar upgrade or go full coilover.
