Anyone using Scosche passPort with iphone 3GS on 09 G37?
I have read report about high pitch noise, wonder if there is an user experience out there.

No one response here, so I decided to just buy it. It's $18 bucks, so wth.

So far, charging fine, no noise...yet...with my 3G. It is true that it's hard to put in place on the center console now, it flies around when I make a "turn". But, good news, it flies around without disconnected. >

I will try to use it with my "white screen of death" ipod nano 3rd generation and it should all fit into the storage rather well.

Also, I found that in practical usage, I don't really need it to be connected all the time. Use it only when I need to charge thing is good enough for me and worth $18 bucks.

If you get noise with the Scorche, from what I remember happened with mine a while back, the noise was the result of a bad Scorche unit.

I called the company and they sent me a new one and I sent the bad one back.

 

Get the $10 console tray and keep your phone along with your other ipod in there. Better yet ask your sales guy to see if you could snag one for cheaper or Ebay it.
