Buying Ipod/Iphone Cable

Hey I just purchased an iPhone 4 (Verizon finally got it!!) and I was wondering where to buy the OEM cable? I looked around but it seems most places are sold out:

Infiniti G37 Factory iPod & iPhone Adapter Cable

I would prefer to not buy it from ebay and I've been told the dealer sells it for $80 Anyone know where I can get it?

If you're not using the bumper just get some generic ones off eBay. Trust me, a USB cable is almost always just a USB cable.

buy it from ebay. if everyone is sold out, you're going to have to ebay it or pay the dealer. i just sold my spare a month or so ago for $25.

i've gone through 5 ebay/generic cables already, all lasting me from 1-2 months each. either the cable physically breaks easily or the connections stop working. my apple brand cable, although costing more, has lasted me 8months and counting. my original apple cable lasted me 2 years until i accidentally snapped the usb head off.

This is just my experience, maybe it was all just bad luck for me

The 08 he has requires a specific oem iPod/iPhone cable, not USB.

guys,
sorry for the newb question but there is an overload of iphone cable questions around here so searching hasnt helped. I'm trying to find a replacement cable for my 09 that allows me to plug the phone in and use the head unit or steering wheel to control the ipod function. I know there is a proprietary port in the center console but can we also control an ipod through a USB port? I havent seen one in my car. In any case, I've only had the car a few weeks and there was no cable when I bought it. What do I need to buy? Thanks in advance.

OK, so I ended up purchasing the cable that kingjay listed above to connect my iphone 4. Its a nice piece and works as advertised. My two complaints about it are that it is too short and that I couldnt charge the phone while plugged into it. This is a common problem on this board so I though I'd post my solution. I ended up buying this:
iPod Charge Converter 5000-5VC

This little cable solves both problems as it gives me an extra 6-7 inches of cable and reduces the voltage down to an acceptable 5v. The only minor gripe I have left is that the end of the brand motion cable is so thick that I have to remove my phone from its case to make a connection. So in the end I spent more money than I would've liked (around $70) but everything works perfectly now.
