Iphone 4 G37 integration

On the 2008 I had to buy a new composite cable compatible with ios 4.x I got the rocketfish one from bestbuy which worked.
On the 2011 you may need to get "displayout" (only on jailbroken ipod) from cydia. You can get it for free if you add the source sinfuliphonerepo.com
In regard to playing video while driving, we are unable to share the diy on this website because of legalities/safety issues.
I use the Navigon app to play through my screen and speakers, so I now have nav lol. I can still listen to music with it on the screen, but I lose my steering wheel controls. I have to use the iphone to skip tracks or anything.
PM me if anyone wants more details.

Sorry, little bit of confusion...I have no idea if it works for cars with USB....mine is an '08 base and has the old school composite video connectors (yellow for video, red and white for sound) Maybe someone else with USB can answer.

I have the RGB on my 08 non nav G37. I use the apple composite cable with my iphone 4S(jailbroken with displayout) Works flawlessly. Make sure you set your video output to NTSC and not PAL unless you are from Europe. Of course only works if your car is parked.

I tried this and the video works without the parking break, however it stops as soon as I start moving, then comes right back up when I stop at a red light. What did I do wrong?

finally got around to creating and uploading a video showing the capabilities and versatility of an iphone 4 connected to my car's video system. If you want to do this you need to jailbreak your iphone 4 and download displayout from cydia. Also you need the apple oem composite video cable available at the apple store. For my mount i used a proclip g37 mount and an arkon universal smartphone mount. To charge the phone while its connected you need a ac/dc converter connected to the apple video cable. Apps i demonstrated: Gps using alk technologies copilot live, live tv using slingbox player, stocks using istockmanager, g force meter using dynolicious.

Help!!!
OK guys, I had bought this cable online that says its to use your iphone in your g37 (years 2008 and up)
Amazon.com: Nissan Infinity iPod iPhone iPad Interface Cable 284H2-ZT50A Cube / Maxima / Murano / Pathfinder / Sentra / Titan / Versa / Xterra / G35 / G37 / M37 / M56 / EX35 / FX35 / FX50 / QX56 / Adapter Lead Cord Wire Line Out Aux: Electronics
So I could use my iphone 4S in my 2008 G37S. I get it and the part that connects to my phone, looks exactly like the adapter I already have to connect my IPOD. BUT, this new adapter as well as the one that came with the car for my IPOD, won't stay connected to my Iphone????
Any recommendations?
