G37 - iPhone 4 Phonebook / Bluetooth
Hello- it's possible that this topic was previously covered--sorry if it has. Last week I became a new owner of a 2011 G37 Sedan | Prem/Nav. I connected my iPhone 4 to the bluetooth. I have been noticing that when I try to access the phone's address book via the Infiniti Controller (through bluetooth), the 'Phonebook' option is sometimes shaded and is inaccessible. Other times, it works perfectly...and I am able to easily access my iPhone's phonebook and make calls.
Note: during the times that it is 'shaded', I can still access my iPhone's Call History through the Infiniti Controller. This leads me to believe that my phone didn't necessarily lose it's bluetooth connection.
Does anyone know why this is happening?
Thanks for the help!

access to the handset phonebook option is blocked while the car is in motion. if you're going over 10-15mph, the option will be greyed out, but it comes back as soon as you stop. that's why you see it accessible only intermittently. the only way to access the handset phonebook while you're driving is to use voice commands.

Also, the vehicle phonebook is avail. during driving as well (which only hold 40 entries). It makes no sense.
So, I downloaded my most called numbers that I use while driving into the vehicle phonebook, so that I can call them with the controller while driving
