Subwoofer in Vert

May be wrong place but can't find anything on this. I had a sub system in my G coupe w/sub tied into Bose system w/ a custom enclosure. Obviously can't do that w/ a vert. Has anyone replaced the stock sub behind the back seat in their vert? I'd think you could replace the sub w/ aftermarket, tie into either the sub signal from bose system like I did before or even use a line level converter to knock speaker level signal down. Put an amp in our tiny little storage space and ready to rock. Is the stock a standard 10" job? Thoughts?

I opened up the space behind the seat to check out the sub when I first got my Vert but that was over a year ago. IIRC it is about 10". I suggest that you take a look in the trunk and see if you have enough room to mount your additional (or replacement sub) where the spare tire would be...

I have a spare tire so that is a no go...can't ditch it as I drive 60 miles round trip to work and have had flats before from road trash...not an option. I was hoping for a bolt on solution to replace the stock sub w/ a more efficient one plus some extra "juice". Darn, gonna have to take it all apart to see what I've got. Thnx

Can someone please verify the location of all the speakers in the Vert? I didn't even know there were subwoofers located behind the seats. There is not a specific subwoofer adjustment - the only thing you can adjust is the base, which sucks if you ask me if there truly is a subwoofer in our cars!

3 in each door (6 total)
2 in each head rest (4 total)
1 in center dash

Has anybody confirmed the exact location of the 2 rear woofers? This would be great to know, as I believe the Bose system lacks base.

That diagram is most helpful! By the way, the Smurf Antennae worked out great. Thanks CVIPGO!
