hey all this is my first thread . I recently picked up a new to me g37s 6mt prem, nav, tech, illum kick panels, splash guards, this and that...haha anyways...

all those options and it only came with a navigation manual. I cant for the life of me figure out how to get my blackberry bold linked up with the car blue tooh. Is there a link for a the manual? Is there a link to a thread that has a step by step? Every time i hit phone and the car looks for a device, i put my blackberry in search mode and it finds nothing. so confused, please help!!!

Ok got the phone linked in...but when i follow the instuctions to get it to download my phonebook it dosconnect the bluetooth signal.

It's so annoying!

Why is it doing this? Anyone else have issues downloading the phone book via blue tooth with a blackberry?

I am in Japan, and I only synched it to play music from my blackberry. for Bold 9000, music used to skip a lot, but improved a lot after I got 9700. I think this has something to do with 9700 having bluetooth 2.1. Which one do you have?

i got mine to transfer my contacts today, but same thing, all the shows up in the car's phone book is the ones that i have manually put in there. i am not sure whats up with that. i did get it to play music via bluetooth today though. one thing i did notice is that the volume is much lover via bluetooth vs usb/radio

i took my car in to the local dealership for an oil change and wash (complimentary!) and asked them about the issue...they said not to expect it to upload the contact because the bluetooth in the blackberry isnt sophisticated enough to sync with the nav. that sux, but alteast now i know i stop trying and just manually enter the contacts I want. Sat in my brothers new 2011 328 with nav and voice. His uploads all 500 contacts and does auto voice recognition, no voicetags necessary.Come on infiniti step up your tech game!
