Aux Input wiring on 2010 G37 Coupe

Anyone know if the wiring is in the car for the RCA input jacks in the center counsel or did they remove it all when they gave us a USB port?

What is odd is that the 3 holes are there with blanks in place, with any luck maybe the wires reside within and just need a little RCA jack to complete it all, or maybe not....

Who knows?

The wiring is not there, and there is no analog aux-in on the 2010's. Sorry.

Well now I'm all out of ideas. I refuse to buy an iPod or any "i" device....So I'll stick with the USB flash drive option...

Maybe someday they'll upgrade the Music Box software to allow uploads to the HDD via any form not just CD.

One can dream.

honestly, i hate iPods/iPhones (i have an iPhone4, though, lol) but iPod docks are ubiquitous now and it's really just practical to do. And why not support an American company while you're at it (if you're American, that is)? Sure everything is made in China, but at least you're giving your money to American executives, right?

At the least, you could just buy an old iPod classic and pretty much all your music on it and just leave it in your car (something like 120-250GB). You could even use Apple's lossless format to get actual CD quality sound.

The music box can only hold like 9GB of highly compressed music anyway. I'd rather just buy a 64GB drive and put some high bitrate MP3s on it.

While its true the 2010 and 2011 models without nav no longer have aux in it is not to difficult to add one. Just tie into the LH and RH audio signals from the XM tuner and turn to ch 0 on XM radio. Works great as an aux in. Details on how to do it can be found in my previous posts.
