What kind of Ipod do you guys use with your G?
2009 G37xS w/nav.
Ipod touch...1st of 2nd gen..not sure.
Before update to OS4, ipod would not always work when clicking an artist, playing music then backing up a screen to a new artist. I'd always have to back all the way up to the top menu and start over.
Now after OS4 update its dog slow when talking to the car. Seems fine when not talking to the car. Plus...the damn thing didn't charge without the aftermarket adapter ...but now...it doesn't auto sleep after I turn off the car.
What setups are you guys running?

I had a 16GB 1st gen iPod touch. Now I'm using my new 32GB 2rd Gen touch. I had to get a scotch passport for the new one to charge properly but other than that no problems.
I did also just update to iOS4 and haven't had an issue with that either.

ipod classic 80gb.
one issue i have though (curious to see if anyone else has it) is when it's plugged into the ipod cable i cant' do anything on the device itself (ex. change to a different playlist). it sits at this screen saying connected and has the infiniti logo

FWIW my iPhone 3G lets me access other functions on the phone when plugged in (except for the "ipod app" -- when I select that it just says "accessory connected") But again, those ipod functions all are accessible from the car so I'm not missing anything. But the 3G doesn't charge with my 2009 G.

I have an iPhone, but I have found it very convenient to simply load my favorite CDs onto the hard drive. I have 65 CDs loaded and it works very well.
Is anyone else using this approach?
