iphone GPS to display on the dash screen?

Hello Everyone, so we all know with the right adaptor we can watch movies on the dash display screen from the IPOD with the e-brake on. So my question is, if I download Tomtom GPS app, how do I make that display on the dash screen while I'm driving? I'm assuming there is a way. The guy at best buy was telling me you can usually make it so you can see the display without the e-brake being activated. Any tips?

Can you give me a tip as to where I would find this kind of info?

You need an Apple Composite AV Cable, a jail-broken iphone and TVOut2 app (Cydia).

question....I have a 2010 with NAV and I can see that the holes for the composite adapter are there but I only have the USB port. Has anyone ever installed the composite adapter port? Can the dealer do this?

the actual red, yellow, and white circles arent there though, it looks like you can put the actual piece there but since it comes with USB its not there...

Am I explaining it clearly?

the 2010 models have the pre-installed cutout for A/V composite cables.....but not the actual plugs for it. They no longer offer A/V input on the 2010 in the US....might be different elsewhere
