just got off of live chat with XM

They deny that any free trial is happening now. They also said the nav traffic service does not alert of upcoming speed cameras or redlight cameras, the so-called "safety" cameras.

I hope the live chat was wrong????? Anyone have real world experience with it?

The garmnin service does do that and it is VERY VERY helpful and updated ongoing for $25/year

 

just called customer care they said 240year, but then I asked for traffic only and she said they can not qoute me until I have the car. Even though its a 2010 I still get 3mnth free trial. They must be related to direct tv?
I should have the car tomorrow and we will see what happens. May drop the music, I have Iphone unlimited data plan, just really would like traffic

 

I called XM to renew my service, for the basic radio service and nav traffic, they said $290 a year..now for the basic radio, nav traffic AND weather update, it is $310 a year..

RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
