8 characters. And the quoted text doesn't count. Nor do spaces and returns, from what I've tested.

Two choices:

1. If you have the nav package, you can stream audio through bluetooth. This would be the preferred way to go, as it allows you to stream pandora etc, as well as music stored on the phone itself.

2. Otherwise, you can plug into the USB port and set the Droid to act like a USB storage device. This will give you access to MP3s on the Droid only - not audio from other apps like Pandora.

Let me know if you need step-by-step instructions.

Alrighty.

Step 1: How to get music onto the Droid
Step 2: Connect the Droid to the USB port in the G. Do the mount thing described in Step 1.
Step 3: Switch audio source on the G to USB (using the AUX button).
Step 4: The G should see the Droid as basically a USB storage device, and begin scanning it for tracks. When it's done, you can start playing music through the G's audio interface. Everything at this point is controlled by the G - the Droid is just storage.

If you need more help, page 4-62 of the manual should help you out some.
