Side Mirrors/Rearview Vibrations - Correction?
Not sure if I should post this here or Interior but I will be putting my 10W7 in my car very soon. For those that don't know, this little 10" 1500watt sub can hit pretty well without hearing me down the block. Really clean bass. The stock speakers already vibrate these mirrors a good amount.
With the addition of the sub, I am afraid of having the rearview fall off. Not fun trying to crazy glue it back up there. Any ideas on how to prevent this?

You're worried about your rear view mirror but not about your ears? lol

You do know that it's treble that helps contriute to hearing loss and not bass right?
This sub is 1500watts. It rattles like crazy with the stock Bose. I can only imagine the dance moves it's going to make once the sub gets installed.

agreed that treble contributes as well...but if you think that you can turn the bass up as much as you want and not have an effect on your hearing then you'll be learning to read lips and sign very soon
and if your mirrors are dancing with the stock setup then they are probably lose -- it hits ok but not nearly enough to shake the mirror any noticeable amount

Never said bass didn't contribute to it but hey, most people listen to their ipods on loud and that will hurt even worse than a sub.
It's shaking quite a bit. i'll have to check to see if it's on tight. What's strange is when my side windows are up, the side mirrors still vibrate. Cheap ****!

the outside mirrors vibrate?!?!?!? there is definitely something wrong...with the stock Bose setup I get some small vibration in the rear view mirror (not the housing, just the reflection barely blurs)
but if the outside ones are vibrating they might be loose or something

LOL, this thread fails. I meant to say that Treble contributes more to hearing loss than bass.
Gahhh, close this thread Sam. I'll just check with the dealer. haha

I know the side mirrors wont fall off. I'm mainly talking about the rear view mirror. I read here from someone that theirs fell off from the sub. Just looking for proventions.
