Which amp to get for Alpine Type R SWR-1022D
Looks like I'm going to be buying 40800 box with a Alpine Type R SWR-1022D subwoofer and wondering about your opinions on which amp to get -
I'm
MTX Jack Hammer JH600 monoblock
Rockford Fosgate P600.1
Kicker zx400.1
The subwoofer specs are:
2+2 Ohms
<DT class=alt sizset="124" sizcache="23" jQuery1272289615071="30">Power Handling Max <DD class="">1500W

You'll want a 1 ohm stable amp for sure, that way you will crank the most out of the amp. When you wire it in parallel you'll get 1 ohm, series 4 ohms.
If you can get the Fosgate, definitely do that, those amps are absolute beasts, they will put out more rms than rated.
For wiring use 4 gauge power and 12 guage to the subs, knuconceptz preferred.
