Not only RGB display, but touch screen too ... I am totally impressed ... great work!
How much would you say it costs to put the whole thing together without sensors or SSD? It seems to be cheaper than CAMP2.
Have you figured out a way to integrate audible alarm set points on the displayed gauges yet? Dedicated PC speaker?

Thanks Terry. Most the cost for me went to the PC itself. I really went for top of the line parts. Breaking down the approximate costs:
PC: $900
Scan Converter: $80
Dashcommannd: $40
Relay, wiring, etc: $100
You could probably get this system going for around $500 bucks for an Atom processor based unit. That should be suffice for gauge viewing.
I dont think Dashcommand has the ability to output sounds yet.

Sure, would be glad to show you. It's basically all done by the power supply. It monitors the acc wire and turns on the pc when acc is on. After acc is off, it triggers shutdown by stimulating the push of the power button. If for some reason windows is not shutting down properly, the power supply will cut off power after 1 minute.
I'm planning to fill up the HD with music and blueray movies.

Very, very pimp.
On a side note, I do find it funny how people seem to find it a negative to "bring out the heavy equipment" and modify things (drills and what have you) on this site. I am still getting used to this nice car stuff.
Great looking display man.
