I do not get XM on my home PC or on my android phone, only in my G. That's what I get for $5/month (see above).

We settled on:

$24.99 for 5 months - $5 per month

So I put 11/24/2011 on my Outlook Calendar with a 7-day reminder to "Renew or Lose!", and will go through the process again.

Notes:

- You have to be willing to cancel to get the good rates
- If you don't call to re-negotiate come expiration, they will renew you at high rates
- I'm bummed that I didn't get my below $5/month that I got last time. I got frustrated, was in a hurry, and settled for an even $5 month (okay, $4.998 actually)
I just renewed mine for the rate of $24.99 for 5 months, music only. Don't need weather and navi. I told them that my buddies were getting the rate so they just gave it to me without having to haggle.

Oh and if anyone is interested in keeping the navi, it's an extra $10 for the 5 month term.

I renewed 2 months ago and the charge never hit my CC. Not going to call them and ask why.

So, if I let my XM subscription end, does my Navigation system stop working?

$5.09 a month for 12 months. And the Trafic (color codes on the map) is included in that price, don't know/care about weather. Car only.

"XM Select with XM NavTraffic® (1 Year Plan)" is my plan on the website bill.

Took about a half hour, and I had lapsed from my trial period about 2 weeks. The Girl helping was way cool and just kept looking for codes (that is what she said at least). I just said what I was trying to get to and we found a way. It has to be billed monthly and can only last for 12 months, but I am stoked with what I did get.

Seems like a great deal! Called XM this afternoon and they could not offer me the same deal... I only want the TrafficNav and don't really care about the radio part - but of course, they cannot offer me the TrafficNav as its own package.

When I mentioned your deal (telling them it was a friend) - they wanted the friend's account info (i.e. phone number) so they could give me the same package.

When did you get this package and what did you ask for? Did you have an offer code?

Thanks!

Got it yesterday, don't have any code info. The girl just kept looking.
