Got my GoPro HD Camera

And I couldn't be any happier!

I ordered from Ryan@Forged Performance directly last week as they had them in stock. Great customer service on their behalf!

The camera came very well packaged with lots of foam in there to keep it from getting too excited on the plane. It made it here safe & sound and was ready for action.

Two boxes came in the package, one for the camera and another for all the other goodies:

Camera:

What I love about this, is that its weatherproof and water proof up to 60m's deep (not yet tested), notice the white rubber on the edges help keep the water out when the case is firmly clamped.

Don't be fooled by this size of it, it can do wonders (insert "that's what she said joke" here haha)

The camera came with so many different pins and joints that hook on to each other allowing you create which ever mount shape you like and just like a tripod stand, joints can be loosened and tightened to allow you to "fine tune".

What I loved even more, is that it came with an AV out cable (and HD out), meaning I can watch recorded videos through the display in my G (while parked of course).

Also comes with 5 3M tape mounts, 3 for flat and 2 for round surfaces in case you don't want to use the suction cup mount.

Only thing you need is an SD memory card (preferably the fast Class 4 ones), I bought me a 16GB one and went out to test it.

As you can tell it, it was late at night and the fog was insane! I couldn't even push the car because all I saw was a few meters before me! I just figured you guys would want video's so I recorded one, windows down. Also tested how the camera would respond to some bass later on.

Camera was mounted upside down on to my sunroof:

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/vhtJ_RClVCE&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/vhtJ_RClVCE&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Many more video's will be coming I promise!

Another video:

<object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/yJ1V_pEeAu4&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/yJ1V_pEeAu4&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>

Wow, that is one heck of an HD camera, the sound and video are awesome even with low light at night- looks great. Your exhaust sounds really loud in the cabin, nice tones. I may have to get a GoPro HD for myself or from the wifey for xmas, sweet.

You won't regret it! I had the windows open though, I'll have a full review of my exhaust in the morning.. I didn't even upload using HD btw, just normal youtube settings

The exhaust pipes sit low and some of the speed bumps are humongous here
