During heavier bass music, there is rattling/vibrations in the passenger's side door. Is this normal for the car or is possible that the woofer is blown? This happens at low and high volumes.

Car is just over a month old. Does Infiniti cover this? I have not even came close to over driving the audio system

 

rattling is normal, i had rattling in my car before too, then i ended up dynomatting the doors and voila...rattling is gone..

and no, it's not a blown sub...u'll know it's a blown sub cause 1) either no sound comes out of it, or 2) it'll sound like a whoopy cushion no matter what level of volume ur playing it at...

 

I really don't want to go through the hassle of taking the doors apart until I am ready to put new audio parts in.

I can't see how the dealer would not be responsible to fix this in some way.

 

well there is a 1 year warranty for any rattling or weird noises coming from ur car....so if ur car is still new, u can definitely tell them to fix it....

any longer than that, then it really depends on ur dealership, they have the right to say tough luck or they can be nice and fix it for u...but from experience, i can tell u if they rip ur door open, there will be another vibration/rattling coming from something else....
