i think the front doors each have a 10" subwoofer if you have the premium package. they are OK, but clearly do not put out enough bass for, say, hip hop songs.

Those answers should tell you a lot about the nature of this forum...

In the doors. Doesn't matter which package you have, they suck.

Theres 2 subs in the rear deck too if you have bose. nonbose idk.

The bose system isnt terrible. Its better then it was in my 1st gen lol. Def need a small sub in the trunk for that extra pound.

There is no subwoofer on the bose system just woofers on the doors and rear. Adding one though is definately worth it.

From the Infiniti website

Infiniti Studio on Wheels® by Bose® Premium Audio System, CD player with MP3 playback capability, Radio Data System (RDS), and 10 speakers, including 3-way component front door speakers with 10-inch subwoofers and a parcel shelf-mounted subwoofer

Oh were it but true, apparently marketing's calling Woofers.. Subwoofers. Anyone with a real sub can tell you the difference is night and day and adding one a mod well worth the cost.

Well well well, how about that. That explains why I wasn't feeling the kind of bass I was expecting out of the system. What's the best fix for this? A bazooka tube in the trunk?

I def. need a sub in the trunk. I think the SOW has less bass than my 04 coupe. The SOW sounds better, but just seems really lacking in bass.

Does anyone know if there were any plans to do a 4080 box for the sedan? I emailed him through the website, but no response yet. I see they have one for the 03-06 sedan, which I assume doesn't fit an 09 sedan.

I called them recently, and they don't have a 4080 box ready for the G37 sedan yet.

They are 10" woofers, not Sub-woofers. The service manual schematics clearly state Woofer AMP and label each speaker people have been thinking are sub woofers as Woofers. Add a sub, you can't mistake the difference.
