G37 Coupe Amp Power Wire

Hi I have a question as to where the grommet on the passenger side near the battery is. I removed a little bit of the trim and can't seem to find it can somebody tell me the exact location? I am trying to run my power down the passenger side.
My next question, how do I pull the rear cushion/carpeting up along the edges to get the wire through? I know how to get the front half but the back is puzzling me. Thanks in advance.

+1 to this question! I actually JUST posted this on someone's picture thread. I want to run some power wire up the passenger side as well.

Hmm there is an easy to access grommet on the driver's side wall as well, just remove the trim around the brake fluid thing and you can see it. I guess we could use that but we would need an extra 2-3 feet of power wire for that.

You posted in the wrong section.

But here's a quick pic of the grommet taken from cullen.

I'm not understanding your second question. Once you take out the rear seats and the plastic side moldings, the rest is pretty explanatory as there's a clear path to the trunk.

How do I remove the rear seats and moldings in the back?
Do i just pull up on the seat to remove it or is there some trick to it?
Where are the clips or whatever holding it in?
thanks.

Dont run the cable through that grommet. When it rains if your parked on a slant with the front higher than the rear water will come pooring into your interior like Niagara Falls.

I'll silicone it.
And if I'm using a LOC do I tap into 8 &9 or 23-26?

Just pull up on the seat. Its in there pretty good. Clips are near where the seat sits on the frame in the front/middle crotch area when you're seated.

All the other moldings you need to remove can simply be tugged out.

Where did you run your wire if you didn't use the firewall grommet?
Personally, I ran my cable through there with no problem even after several heavy rains (just remember to silicone it).

You have to pull pretty hard to get it out. Just take your time and pull straight up, you shouldn't break anything. Putting it back was simple. Just align the hole and push down. I just sat down on it and it popped back into place. Just make sure you pull the seat belt connectors back through first.

The back cushion is giving me quite the pain still. Where did you grip it to pull up?
I have a feeling for the pins one on each side and I tugged extremely hard but it did not budge.
