Where is my compass ?
Taken from infiniti.ca standard features: Auto dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink® Universal Transceiver and compass.
I don't see any compass on my rearview mirror, is there a special botton to press to enable it ?
+ I don't have technology or nav package.
My mirror looks like this one https://www.myg37.com/forums/attachm...7-p5040064.jpg

If you've got NAV, they remove the compass/mirror. Not sure why OP wouldn't have one since NAV's not included, though. Maybe talk to the dealership, if you bought it new.

By that logic:
* Who needs a speedometer? Open a window and the noise will estimate your speed.
* Who needs a tachometer? You never look at it anyway, Besides, a loud clunk will tell you you've been at red line for too long.
* Who needs a fuel gauge? Early Volkswagens never had them either.
* Who needs temperature gauge? Smoke coming out from the hood will tell you all you need know.
* And if you’re disoriented on a dark street some night just knock on somebody’s door and ask for directions.

Don't make dumb analogies. A compass isn't what I'd call a necessity. Everybody with an iPhone whip out the compass and head south. Wait. I see the sun and know where south is.
The day I see somebody navigate roads with a compass is the day I drive into the ocean.

Actually you may want to lighten up a bit. We all agree that an auto compass is not a necessity. It’s just another convenience designed to enhance the driving experience. And if the OP paid for a car that is supposed to have one, he has every reason to question its not being there.
