Premium Audio Package Rattling
Hi,
I have searched for this topic but I didn't find much. Does anyone else get a rattling noise on the driver side? I am not exactly sure where it comes from. I only hear it when the stock system is bumping with heavy bass. Its not coming from the sub, its more like the frequency is making something else rattle...

i get rattling from loud bass and buzzing from loud mid/high? (eg playing piano music at loud volume). for me, i'm pretty sure it's the inner door handle that's buzzing from the bass, and the speaker grilles for the mids and highs

if you want to try and fix it on your own, you could purchase sound deadening material and try to patch the area around the speakers. i'm probably going to just take my car in to the dealership though. lots of noises popping up in my car recently (high pitch frequency noise, windshield pop, etc. etc.)

If your inner door panels have ever been removed, make sure all the little plastic clips are still in place. They are easy to break and you get rattles and noise if they' aren't there.
If you're just playing the music really loud, then yes, it will rattle. Deaden it with some sound dampening material.

Door panels have never been removed (at least, they shouldnt have been) and the rattling occurs even when the music is not really loud.

i had a similar problem, ended up pulling the doors apart, i dynomatted all the flat metal surfaces...and also the outside door skin (from the inside of course), and also dynomatted the flat surface behind the sub (the brace that holds the magnet thing)...put it all back together...voila, no vibrations...only thing that vibrates is the water bottle that i have sitting in the door cup holder...
