I use a "BlackBerry Bluetooh Audio Gateway" thing to stream music via Bluetooth (A2DP).

Check my posts in that thread. This doesn't apply to 2010 models as I don't own one.
This worked great for me without resorting to cables.

Quality is just fine. I use it to listen to ShoutCast streams (DroidLive) at 128Kbps. Sound is in stereo. A2DP works really good.
I'm not a "musical snob" so maybe I don't have the ears for it but there is no hissing/noise/etc. Sounds just like my old MP3 player that was plugged into the RCA jacks before, meaning it sounds fine.
I actually wasn't expecting it to sound this good.

Delete all the profiles currently on the 37 and do the same for the droid. then do a full reset, meaning batt pull. then turn the BT on the drioid on, and use the 37 to search. it will find it and go the the normal pairing....you should be ok that point...if you still having issue connecting, chk the BT connection on the droid with a reg BT headset. It may be the phone BT or it may be the 37 BT....but its easier to find out if its the droid.

Allow me to chime in here. For the 2008 and 2009 owners with AUX input, simply connect the Droid to the car's AUX input:
- With a 3.5mm Stero to RCA audio cable. It's 76 cents, plus postage, can't beat that.
- You can get a little fancier with perhaps a 3.5mm Stereo female to RCA audio male adapter, plus retractable 3.5mm Stereo cable.
- Or if you're going to tuck it away in the center stack and want one cord of just enough length to plug in and tuck away, try this 3.5mm Stereo to RCA audio 1.5ft cable.
The method that Mozy mentioned in this post is great for streaming audio via Bluetooth A2DP into the G's AUX input. For a more streamlined solution, I would suggest the Kensington LiquidAUX Bluetooth Car Kit over Mozy's suggestion. Simply use the A2DP profile only (not headset/handsfree, leave the profile for the car's use).
