I get the same error but you just need to disconnect it again and sometimes again and again until it recognizes the music on your iphone and it pops up on the screen (and hit no to the airplane mode pop-up), other then that it's works flawlessly. Wish I knew how to fix the pop-up and disconnecting it again and again until it sees the music.........

I think it's the cold weather. I never heard the noise in the summer/fall when I bought it.

I live in Miami and I heard the noise after owning the scosche passport after about 2 months. Initially I could plug and unplug it and the noise would go away. Now it is there no matter how many times I try and I can hear the hiss and low hum in between song changes and on certain very low songs. Unplug the adapter and the sound is perfect. I think they use cheap components inside the adapter and the heat of charging(the adapter gets warm) is slowly burning or ruining the internals of the adapter.

my scosche is putting out a high pitched noise in the audio system. when i disconnect the scosche, and use the regular connection, no noise.

what's up with that?

bought one from the apple store...works...ipod nano fits with it in the center console...i just have the wire stick out of the console and plug it into the phone and it works cord didnt come out
