Just cancel after your free trial is up, wait a few days and call
1-800-347-0600. I told the person that I wanted the $77/year promotion and got it without any problem, there's an 11.87 royalty fee so the total first year bill is $88.87. Much better than the 15.98/mo, 47.93 quarterly, or 175.74 yearly.

This also works if you have a older XM too if your current offer is ready to renew or you pay monthly.

I did it a couple hours ago and my XM is back on again, at less that half price

I just got a post card from XM 5 months $4.00, 6 months $4.99, 12 months $6.48 per plus royalties. However, personally, with all the music options on our G's, I'm still not in the market for XM. The traffic is nice, but, it's an extra over the basic cost... Maybe if I drove more or for longer distances.

I just called and told them I don't drive my car in the winter, and asked if they had any seasonal specialities. I got 12 months for the price of 8 and it comes to something like $65 a year. This was with XM Canada so your experience might be different.
