Wow! Just got done reading the rest. What lights do you use to light up the plexi and where do get them?

I'm kind of wanting to do another system now. I've already thought about how I would do it. I would not go into the truck, we use that too much. However, no one has ever sat in the back seat...

Nice work and a nice system, you guys did good . I didn't see anything about an upgraded alternator, that's probably in the works, but if not I highly recommend you upgrade, the difference in sound is literally night and day.

I used a great shop in So Cal that has been building custom alternators for years and they have powered a lot of sound competition winners. If you call, ask for Robbie -- 888-441-0144. DC Power Engineering.

[edit] Forgot to mention, nice bonus is all your lights are way brighter than stock after upgrade.

there is literally no need for a built alternator in this case.

the entire sytsem is around 670 watts total RMS, even at max tilt, its not drawing enough current to need a HP alternator and in most musical cases, its requirement is even less.

I will let BING chime in to confirm, but I remember from DIYMA that he was using these at one point. I am running the Neutral White LED strips in my Maxima now and they work great!

Ya know i have a pair of high end CDT front end components that i bought when i got this car and i was going to change out the entire front end....but when i saw how small that grommet on the driver door was i figured there was no freaking way i was going to be able to fish wire through there. Seeing this has sparked my interest to finally get these speakers in tehre since i may not even need to fish any wires through.

yessir...i was pleasantly suprised as well. i was about to take the door off and do a csutom conduit until i saw the stock wiring in the bundle. it was very sustantial and IMO, especially if you run ne wires up to the kick area, it can stand around 200-250 watts RMS for midbass and midrange duties. i estimate it to be somwhere between 12 and 14 ga by the looks of it.

Just curious but how much does an install like this cost? Equipment and labor included. Ballpark figures is all I'd need.

Thx
