Holy Audio Install!!! I'm not feeling the trunk colors though they look out of place for some reason (white & red) on a Blue Slate?

Wow, very impressive! I only made it half way through so far (took 20 minutes) and I read every word. You don't see this type of quality outside the custom audio forums. I have to ask a few questions before I forget them all. What type of foam do you use? I like Ensolite. What type of sound dampner do you prefer?

I don't know if you have ever used TechFlex wire wrap before but if you haven't you should give it a try. I prefer the Clean Cut and you can see it at wirecare.com. It makes for a very clean look, better than loom.

Very impressive stuff. I'll come back and read the rest as soon as I have time.

well, red and white is the color of the rising sun flag having a blue and black rising sun would prolly cuase a riot in japan

for foam i use elemental designs Edead V4, it thicker than ensolite and is self sticking, so less mess. for damping, i use edead v1UE, edead gets a bad rap for not sticking and too thin, but thats IMO the V1 normal stuff, the UE is prolly the thickest one i have used and so far, no problems over the psat 3 years. but there are many other good options as well, second skin, raammat etc...i just use v1UE since i am a dealer for them.

as far as techflex? i hate using it, i have also used clean cut... but for the most part, i prefer good ole loom under the hood. for hte rest, if god forbit you ever need to add or change a wire, its just a whole lot of work

for a lot of techflex...look at my car, thats the last time i used it in any quanity...i estimate it prolly incrased the build time by about 40 percent, and when i had to repair a broken cable...i was swearing left and right for what i had to do hehe

An abbreviated install log of my own car - DIY Mobile Audio

thank you SO much for reading every word btw that means a lot when i spent 3 hours typing it hehe... i get asked so many qusetions that i already answered in the post hehe so thank you thank you thank you!

Thanks for this g37mobbin, I tried to buy a DashMat for my Maxima from GoToAutoAccessories dot Com and it ended up being a scam. Would you happen to remember how long it took for your Dash Mat to arrive?
