Thumbs up Quick Question about Mute and Pause on G37 6MT

My First POST!

I have a 09 G37 6MT standard package. While I was listening to my CD, I noticed that I couldn't find a button to either MUTE the volume, or PAUSE the song. Is there a button to do so or a way to do it?

Thanks.

Press the volume **** in, should do the trick.

Did your G not come with a manual?

That actually turns off the radio...but it works. I actually do this sometimes because it turns on almost instantly after hitting the volume **** again.

It's not like when the entire system turns on when the car starts up. Instead, the system is still up (the HVAC and nav still work), it's more like the audio stuff was put into a sleep mode which is why it turns back on so fast.

I'm guessing there are no actual buttons for this then?

There is unfortunately no mute button. To pause, touch the play/pause button on the lower left corner of the touch screen.
