XM radio, but no traffic?
Well... I have a paid subscription for XM radio, but I don't get XM traffic.
Do I have to sign up for traffic separately, or should I have it?
I'm guessing I should just call XM and have them add it?
Plus... is it really necessary, if you have it, do you use it/like it?

XM Traffic is a seperate option aside from XM radio. You can call XM to add the traffic service, which will cost more. Whether you need it or not depends on where you live and how bad is traffic in your city.

I have XM traffic and really love it. Living in the high traffic area like Los Angeles it has been a definite asset in identifying and maneuvering around traffic problems.

I had it for the trial period, but chose not to keep it. I drive into Chicago from NW Indiana. The traffic updates really didn't cover any of the highways I drive, so it was not worth the money for me.
IF they ever add the roads I drive thoug, I will add it.
