audio question

got my new g37 without nav .. couldn't really find the answer .. but here are my questions

1) is there any feature to scroll the title of the song that is playing?
2) is there anyway to scroll through the list of songs on a cd without actually stopping the track playing (and scrolling would be cool if it works here)?

i read somewhere that if you press the "text" button the screen it will show the artist or something? but i've been tapping my screen .. and it isn't a touch screen is it

confused

It is a touch screen.

I too would like to know if there is a good answer to this. I never saw it when I skimmed through the manual.

Sounds like your screen isn't working properly. You might need to bring in your car to have it looked at. Can you select other items in different screens? For example, on the navigation screen, when you press on the little square that shows the map's scale, it should bring up the zoom level. Or if you bring up the radio lists, you can touch the preset on the screen instead of touching one of the buttons on the dash.

Honestly though...I never really touch the screen unless I'm using the on screen keyboard to type in an address.

lol...oops. somewhere I got lost after his first sentence, glanced at his sig and then saw something shiny before remembering that I was trying to be helpful.

Sorry for the confusion Jasyn...

The only other way I think you might be able to see the text is to press the "status" if you have one. On my nav equipped car, the status button shows the song name, artist name, RDS radio station info (if available), preset location, inside temps, plus gas or direction info (if navigating).

Unfortunately, the song title will not scroll if it has too many characters. Plus, I still don't know about looking through other songs without selecting them as you browse through the music.

If you don't have NAV, you don't have a touch screen. You can use the arrow keys on the Infiniti Controller to move around on the screen and get the text to show up on the screen.
