i'm starting a group buy for this product. mike at mgt has offered 20% off if we can get 10 people to sign up by the end of the month. there is a banner at the bottom of this thread so go check out the regular prices and get on my group buy thread if you want one. this is available for bv1 (for valentine1 and works fine for the g37), bv1 hinge, and bbe (for all bell detectors or escort 8500/9500 series and is also hinged).

hey, doesn't your passport tap and hit the mirror if you don't mount it so that it touches the rear view mirror when you hit bumps?

^no. the bracket is heat treated and much more solid than the windhield mount that came with the detector. if you look closely, the top of the detector is resting on a dense foam rubber pad. the pad is attached to the mount and the mount holds the detector tight in the clip. it does not vibrate or shake at all, even over rough road. as for the group buy, hold your horses. i need to get clarification from an admin on driver.

yeah, these things are pretty sweet. it looks like they did a lot of r&d before they put it out on the market.

hold on to your horses for a bit. i need to get clarification from geobau (admin) to get a gb started. if it is a go, the price is 20% off the website listing.

so it doesn't use the stock clip that comes with the windshield mount? I have the countryjoy mount that uses the stock clip

The Radar Mount for the Escort or Beltronics

and it seems to bounce on rough road

how easy is the mount to take down ? Is it something easily done everytime I get in and out of the car? It looks like just a clip ?
