Inverters and audio feedback

I'm looking for a decent DC to AC inverter that will allow me to charge my laptop while I have the audio piped through my system. The laptop charges just fine, but if I plug in the audio from the laptop into the RCA inputs in the center console, I'm presented with horrible audio feedback. I'm assuming this is from a combination of:
1. The proximity of the DC plug to the RCA inputs and
2. The loop that is formed by having both of these plugged into the same device.

I'd like to know if there is a way to get rid of the feedback...would a better quality inverter do this? If so, any models you guys would recommend?

Oh, and please save the hate....I realize this is probably a fairly ghetto setup, but we have a road trip to texas tomorrow and the wife wants to watch a couple movies on the way down. Had I known we'd be driving 500 miles with more than a week's notice, I'd have put something a little more custom together

Thanks in advance

There should be ones with better shielding so there's no feedback. Try google?

I've been searching, but not having much luck...I guess most folks aren't trying to pipe audio out of the same device they're charging. I've bought and returned two different inverters so far, so I'm hoping someone has a decent brand\model to suggest.
