Having a problem with Gracenote song info updater.
When I click search titles on my desktop, the stupid **** is asking me to setup a dial up connection. It worked before on this computer, now it's not. I never changed the settings. It's set to use Internet Settings and use LAN, not dial up. I tried deleting the program and downloading it again and still get the same stupid error. Tried it on my Laptop and it works fine. Why would it be doing this on my desktop?

Gracenote is the music recognition software used by your G37's Hard Drive to forcefeed it Album Titles, song names, etc... The harddrive already has the software but as new albums are produced, it needs to be updated....
This is done thru the card reader slot, bottom rt side of the center stack, after you have loaded it via your home computer...which is where the OP is having problems....

Desktop has XP. Laptop has Vista. And no other programs have trouble getting online. I did recently set up a wireless printer. But all that involved was running the software disc and entering my WEP key!
