I am looking for a good, professional remote starter / alarm (Python 991 or Viper 5901) installer for my 09 G37x and wonder if any of you have either dealt with or heard of the following installer in NJ/NY area. If so, is there a good one among them?

When I tries to get a viper 5901 installed I had problems with the installer. They said the car was too advanced for the system... What a load of crap. Make sure you get a REAL good installer or your going to have tons of headaches on all the features.

Your remote will say door open when it's your trunk, your car could leak through the firewall(happened to me... I have a thread on it), sensors could trigger when they're not supposed to... Etc.

Be very wary of installers. I ended up tellin the shop to remove the work and I put in a hornet 727t instead. They kept my money for the install they failed to complete and even refused to pay for damages when I needed my whole carpet replaced.

Oh man... Bad memories. Goodluck on your install!

Viper and Python are both made by the same company, DEI, who is the leading aftermarket alarm/remote starter company. Just have the work done through the dealership. You take it to the dealer, and they take it to the proper installer to have it done. You may pay a little more, but you know it will be done right, and the dealer is the one that warrantees it. Also, it won't void your factory warranty!

Thank you for your advice.
I have a very bad experience with a Subaru dealer in the past and have no confidence in my delear. Effectively, I have to get my car service three times to get my AC fixed. May be I have to look for another dealer.
