VDC Warning

Guys,

Sometimes when im out driving and hit the gas pedal aggressively, the "VDC off" and "SLP" warning lights pop up. This JUST started happenning. I never had this problem before. When i turn the G off, and turn it back on, those warning lights go away, but if i hit that gas pedal aggressively, theyll come back on again,..

HELP!!!!!

OP you need to provide more info.

Is your VDC on when this happens?
Does the VDC & Slip go on AND stay on the whole time? Or do they go off when you're done drifting?

Next time it happens drive for a while and see if they go. Does the car drive normally? That kind of happens when you do a dyno run.

Dude this is happening to my car too. I know exactly what the OP is talking about. It even happens when I go about 3/4 throttle without breaking the tires loose. They all come on and stay on until the car is turned off. Turn the car back on, and they're gone. doesnt hapeen all the time though

Gonna take it in when I get a chance.

Oh and the brake light does the same thing as what the OP just said. Turns on, then turns right off after accelerating.

Indicator light
If a malfunction occurs in the system, the
“SLIP” and “VDC OFF” indicator lights illuminate
in the instrument panel. As long as
these indicators are illuminated, the VDC
system function is canceled.
More on page 5-50 and lots more on 5-51 of the manual...
