took it to the dealer today. after and hour the tech came out and said that the front right caliper was leaking brake fluid,. they replaced the line seals in the caliper and flushed the brake fluid, at no charge of course. but now my rim is black on the inside. what can i do? take it to a rim place and see if they can clean it, or just buy a new rim? (vossen 082)

the tech said he has never seen that (caliper leaking brake fluid) in all his years)

Oh man I forgot to update in here. All I did was check my fluid levels and saw that my brake fluid was a little low. So I added some more fluid and haven't had the lights come up since.

Oh and I'm pretty sure you just have to clean it up man, I don't think you'd need to buy a whole new rim IMO.

It is a brake fluid problem, when you hit the throttle the fluid is going to the bacl of the fluid res.that's why you are getting those lights.

I got the same thing, but it is not the brake fluid. Basically when both the SLIP and VDC OFF lights stay on, it is because something is wrong with the system due to the self-check that occurs every time to start to drive the car at slow speed.

Mine came on first time I started it after changing my steering wheel. I have checked everything I can think of....and everything works.....not sure what else to try. May disconnect the battery for a while and see if I can get a full system reset.

Any ideas?

I have had this happen to me also. I was driving and took a corner a little fast and the "VDC OFF", "ABS", and the "slip" light all came on and I just turned the car off and it went away and it hasn't happened since.

Brake fluid is slightly above max line so not my issue. Not sure what it is, but going to pull steering wheel off this weekend and double check all connections. That is the only thing I did that caused the lights to appear.
