ipod connector - no mp3 connector?
So has anyone found a workaround for the ipod connector?
I have an mp3 player that i am happy with and want to connect that to my g37 music box and control it on screen.
I dont want to invest in an ipod and convert all my music to its format and deal with iTunes - yuck
And why can i just transfer my music to the harddrive rather than inserting 1 cd at a time

I would guess that you must insert CDs to copy your music to try to insure that you have legal rights to the music. Seems everyone is worried about people stealing music these days.
Not wanting to buy an IPOD is one thing, but you would not have to convert anything to their format. They play MP3s just fine.

^^^agreed. Also, iPods and iTunes are exceptionally easy to use and learn.....that's why Apple owns 90% of the mp3 player market. Reconsider....you'll be glad you did. Then again, I'm an Apple fanboy, so maybe I'm biased.
