Back up lines for after market?

Okay so I didn't think I'd really care about the Tech package... I ended up in a fully loaded Max while the tints were being re-done in my G37 and I'm now addicted to the back up camera.

I can find the information on using the built in display for an aftermarket camera, but is there any way to get the green / yellow / red and steering lines? It's the lines that really sold me on it, but of course way to late to get a factory install.

I spent a couple hours searching without finding much about the guide lines specifically. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Did he get the back up lines in the display though or just what ever came in from the camera?

Thanks!

kkokko posted a fair bit on it, I found a decient list of equipment, but I don't know if any of it super imposes the same lines the stock back up camera does.

It's the combination that I found really appealing, not just the camera.

Thanks!

Chances of replicating the lines that show on the screen with aftermarket are slim to none.

Let me know what you come up with. If you can find something I'd oviously be interested. I'm suprised I couldn't find anything - the programming to put the lines over the image is easy. Figuring out the electronics & interfacing to the car isn't something I can personally do, but it's way simple programming once that's worked out.

Cheers!

pretty easy actually. i havent pulled my radio yet, but all you need is to hook up power, ground, and your video lead. we will most likely use the lead that's used for video in the center console unless there is another location on the radio itself. power will be hooked up to reverse to cam comes on during reverse. we can also put a switch on it to turn it on while driving. i purchased a spoiler with cam hole and ill be mounting in there for a factory look. once i get to it ill post a DIY with my installers. thats basically it in a nutshell. if any techs wanna chime in with more info, please do.
