"There is no song" error

I'm getting this error when I plug in my iPhone 3G S.

There is no song

It has worked before, so I know the phone is compatible.
Anyone seen or know how to fix this?

Thanks,
Shaun

I get it sometimes too with my Iphone 2G. Just unplug the phone and replug it back in. That should do the trick.. or turn the phone off and back on again. It will probably say this accessory is not compatable, blah blah.. also.

Does your car charge your iphone 3G S? just wondering.

I tried unplugging and replugging...turning the car off and replugging. That still didn't work. I even tried unpairing my phone.

I'll try turning my phone off and on after work.

My car does not charge the 3G S. I'll be getting the Scosche passPORT Charging Adapter soon...

Turning the phone off/on worked.

Thanks for the suggestion.
