IS the Dash harness Universal ?
I was wondering if anybody knows if the in dash harness for the screen in G37 is universal ? Navi to Non-navi.
I have two plugs that would fit into my screen , I used the top one ... but the bottom one would fit also (i did not want to plug bottom one in cuz might loose my screen
) and it has a black wire that has silver markings on it. I have no idea where it goes?

They are not universal. I know because in researching the pinouts to make video in motion work, I found differences in the FSM. Good luck.

Nav might work, but odds are real high that something doesn't. ![thewave](https://www.myg37.com/forums/images/smilies/th_wave.gif)

Any way you can post up a completed shot with the steering wheel, maybe even a little video? the pics are ok, but shows a navi screen. doesn't show the thing actually works or is hooked up completely.

also, i noticed you list in your sig you have the tech package. how the heck did you get that without getting the navi standard from the factory?

so Ruvik -- i don't get it --
you had a non-navi G .. and you bought all the parts from somewhere and installed it yourself and got it all working like a navi-G from the factory?
