car is dead electrically, any ideas
So I got back from a two hour drive and my parking lights were on and wouldn't come off. They kept flashing on an off and a weird clicking sound kept coming from the battery area. Lights would not turn off with the switch and entire car is dead electrically..battery is complely drained.
Bought car brand new only mods are injen intake and fi exhuast.
Car has 9000 mi
ANY IDEAS AS TO WHAT IS CAUSING THIS??

No idea, but you really should give more info for others such as whether or not you've done any modifications to your car (particularly electrical), are you the original owner or did you buy used how and how many miles etc.

Sounds like your battery is just dead. The city lights come on when you have a dead battery (obviously not completly dead). These cars have really crappy batteries from the factory, so call the number on your Infiniti roadside service card and have them give you a jump if you dont already have jumper cables.
My battery went out after 3000 miles and 18,000 miles. I now have an Optima Yellow Top...

There are known electrical issues.. Dealership said " alternator is not recharging the battery the way it should" for people with my driving habits . Whatever, I drive at least 400 miles a week. Nonsense.
They suggested putting in an oversized battery. Other folks have had cars turning off, trunks not opening, surges of power.
Good Luck
