raindrops on back up camera

raindrops on back up camera
hey it has been raining pretty bad down here in "sunny" south Florida and every time i put the car in reverse i get a beautiful blurred pic of whats behind me.. i was wondering if anyone has also seen this and what would you do to fix it? i was thinking rainx, but i dont think that will work..

I easily just wipe it off with a cloth i have in the trunk, How often do you reverse? lol

Mine gets like that once in awhile, i just grab a napkin and hop out and wipe it.

Is it from the rain or is it moisture inside the lens that is causing it to blur?

its rain.. not fog.. its rain drops on the outside of the lens making the image behind me blurred..

Yeah get a MF cloth and just blot it off

problem is im in the car backing up when i notice it.. not going to step out of the car in the rain to wipe it off to back the car up.. lol

Non getting wet back up plan= The old fashioned way.............Use the mirrors! I jump out and blot myself. Time for a new mod, Camera wiper!

yea, it rains a lot in vancouver..and it happens to my camera all the time....just deal with it

If you wipe it with some quick detailer or polish it should help to let those drops roll off.

OMG what did we ever do before back up camera's? I strapped a little person to my trunk so whenever the camera get water or anything on it, I push a button that slaps him in the head and he wipes it off. Not the most practical set up but it works.
