I guess you have to use the little one on the Navigation's map screen.

yea the premium + nav puts it into the nav stuff on the screen...

i think its better on the touch screen anyways...thats what the nav package is for...

 

Just read this off Infiniti's website " Integrated digital compass on inside mirror (not available with Navigation Package)" why would they do that, if someone is paying for an additional package it would make no sense to take a feature off. I'm pissed at Infiniti

 

on the touchscreen how do I find it, are you talking about the Arrow with the red and white. I just think the compass in the mirror would be much more convenient and should not be taken off, especially if your paying a lot more. It should have both.

 

okay that officially sucks. I have the 08 with prem + nav and we get the compass on the rear view mirror.. not the 09? damn!

 

yeah there isnt like a stand alone compass that I know of, but if you have the map/navigation screen up it shows you what direction you are going. IMO opinion that's better, I just think it's more convenient and better ergonomically. But I can see where you are coming from and why that would be annoying.

 

This reminds me of the voice command deletes mid-way into 08 model which I'm still pissed about. I don't understand why they're are sometime so *** backwards about things.
